We, the people of these three parishes, are called upon to express our Catholic identity in joyful celebration of our sacraments and to share our gifts, as we reach out to each other and to all those in our communities, bearing witness to Christ.

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lena, founded in 1888, has long been a center of local Catholic life. The current church was built in 1938 and continues to serve area families with Masses, sacraments, and parish programs as part of the Rockford Diocese.

St. Ann Catholic Church in Warren has long served local Catholics with Masses, sacraments, and community events. Located on E. Railroad St., it remains a vital part of the Rockford Diocese and a center of faith in the Warren area.

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple River was founded in 1868 and has served the local community for generations. The current brick church on Webster Street was dedicated in 1923 and remains a place of worship and gathering for area Catholics.
Rev. Andrew Hernandez
Father Andrew Hernandez, ordained in the Philippines in 1997, has served parishes there and later ministered in the Diocese of Rockford since 2018. He has held assignments in Aurora, McHenry, and Crystal Lake. He now leads the three parishes of St. Joseph (Lena), St. Ann (Warren), and St. Joseph (Apple River) as their pastor, guiding their shared ministries and spiritual life in rural Northwest Illinois
K-8 Religious Education Classes start in September
All K-8 children are invited to enroll in Religious Education Classes at either St. Joseph Lena or St. Ann Warren. Register online or with hard copies at the back of the church.
